what would you do? (2405fpw relate question)

so my 2045fpw just recently started making a faint high pitched whining sound. I can hear it when the room is really quiet, and it can really get on my nerves at times. however, other than that, the monitor is perfect. no dead pixels at all.

should I try to get a replacement or live with the slight noise? anyone have any experience similar to mine?
 
I would replace it. They will send you anew monitor and the you send back yours. And besides if you spent that much on amonitor let it be as perfect as it can :)
 
While you have the 21 days, RETURN it. Dell will overnight you a brand new monitor and just send the old one back with the return slip, no money lost on your part. Mine had pretty bad backlight issues but I was worried about getting a monitor that was worse. Amazingly, my second monitor turned out to be perfect :D
 
the monitor is now 3 months old...will dell send me a replacement???
