Uhh, Samsung 710T or Dell 2001FP. Both have 24-bit color.

Dont know where you live but the Sony units are on display in most CC, BB and CPUSA stores. Since those specs mean nothing Id be inclined to go take a look at the units and decided from there. Really accurate color is going to be a function of calibration, so you will want to play with the settings while at the store, as well as a few other companies products

From what I've read and seen, there is very little difference between 16ms and 12ms. Likewise, the difference between the contrast ratios doesn't matter too much so long as it's at least 400:1. Sure, you would want the highest contrast ratio and the lowest pixel response times, but take company specs with a grain of salt. Sometimes you'll have to reduce contrast to get more accurate color reproduction. There may be other considerations besides contrast and pixel rates to consider such as:
1) Is there excessive afterglow?
2) Is there a USB hub?
3) How much sharpness will you lose if you set the LCD outside of it's native resolution?
4) Do you want integrated speakers?
5) Is wall mounting easy, or a possibility?
6) Does the LCD have DVI input?
7) do you need really wide viewing angles?...etc.
What it all boils down to is which looks and works better to you. Try each one out (bring a DVD to watch movies and play a game on them if possible) and see for yourself which one you like better.

p.s. As long as I have 16ms pixel rate, I'll coose the LCD that will display true blacks without excessive afterglow. While it's true that during gaming, you really don't need true blacks and highly accurate colors, you'll really appreciate them if you watch a lot of movies and/or do some sort of professional graphics design. 12ms isn't a huge improvement--you may not notice the difference at all--and if I needed faster response times for hardcore frag matches, I'd get a CRT.
