It wasn't there when I got it 6 months ago... it's on the left maybe 1/8 of the screen it is darker/uneven

It's hard to take a picture of... but would this warrant an RMA? it's only noticable on solid colors but it still bugs the shit out of me...

It does have a 3yr warranty =/

Not knowing that you can hold down shift in paint to draw a straight line ;)

I'm not seeing anything else?

I actually used photoshop! and it's not a straight line, that's the point...

It's pretty faint in the image...

Here's another one, cranked up the constrast... the left side is darker then the right... like a piece of paper that got wet...

The little dots are dust on my DSLR sensor...

Well it shows up all the time, it's just more noticable on solid colors.

Yea it's barely noticable, but so are dead pixels... doesn't mean you should have to deal with them...

It wasn't there before, and I've only cleaned it using 50/50 rubbing alchol water + microfiber. (never sprayed onto the screen itself)

rubbing alcohol.. oh man, that does not sound like a good idea. The screen is plastic after all. I only use water and microfiber (drops of water on the microfiber).

I would think this is the normal clouding/uniformity issues on big IPS panels. Mine was like that all over the place when I got it, so I sent it back and switched to the my 24". Even my NEC has some minor uniformity issues, but I haven't seen a 30" IPS that didn't. There was big threads complaining about striping/clouding/uniformity.

Really?

Hmmm... is it supposed to be like that when you get it... I honestly didn't notice it until a few weeks ago and it bugs the shit out of me now.
