Out of all the games I've seen and how great they are I have never really seen fire that looks good in any games
 
Fire is good in D3, but it's got to be one of the hardest things to render properly. Like the image distortion from heat, different flame bits...think about it as you watch a campfire, that would be hard to get on a PC...I do think that D3 does a good job though.
