I'm building a computer for a friend and I'm all set on parts except for the power supply. I have no idea what wattage I need. It will have :

G0 Q6600 (hopefully oc'd to 3.00-3.20)
1 sata western digital hdd
1 DVD-RW Drive
8800GT (512MB, some OC as well)
4GB RAM (2x2)
1 sound card
~4? case fans

I was thinking that a Corsair 620 would be enough, but I just want to make sure because the PSU is important.

Thanks.

Should give you a good recommendation. Just off the top of my head, the 620 would be more than enough for your system.

Corsair VX-450 would be enough but it depends on your future upgrade intentions.

Go in between and get the HX520, unless the 620 doesn't cost that much more. The 520 would be plenty to go SLI.
