what card is it?

stickers and numbers are missing on the back

i googled the voodoo 3 3000, looks almost the same ( almost ) I need exact model. It is in the voodoo 3 family though

i think its a voodoo 3 3000... 3500 had a tv-tuner and a breakout box if im not mistaken... plus it looks just like my old voodoo 3 3000!

ok, 3/3000 it must be. i found the drivers for it. I think I will try to OC it a little. I want to see what new(er) games I can play on it.

dont overclock it a little.. overclock the crap outta it!!!!! i mean whocares if u burns!!!!!!! muahaha :p

well go for its limit at least until artifacts shows etc.. ;)

Yeah, as everyone else has said. It's a voodoo3 3000 AGP. I have a v3 3500 and it's nothign like that :).

Thats the right heatsink for the 3000. I don't remember the numbers, but that card overclocked quite well on air if I remember correctly. Watch where you stick it, it might not be compatible with newer motherboards (AGP voltage) and could potentially fry something. Interestingly enough, I was on an older machine getting BFV/UT04 running, and I had to drop to 16bit color to make them acceptable. And you know what? Big deal. The game was just as fun. Ah the memories of those arguments...

Put it in a PC.

Boot the PC with Linux (a rescue disk or Knoppix will do the job).

log in.

"cat /proc/pci"

Find out what the card believes it is.

Ah... Glide, those were the days. You should start up a game of Undying or Deus Ex with that baby. :)

However, it looks like a vanilla v3-3000.

I have that same exact card hanging on my wall over my desk right now. Mine still works great! :)

Definitely a V3 3000... I have one in my closet and it looks exactly like that.

Yup, Voodoo 3. I remembered because I open my old computer case last week.
