What vcore is safe?

At the moment my vcore is set to 1.87 and I'm running at 2.4, would it be possible to go any higher in my vcore to see if I can push anything else out of this. Temps are fine, 30ish idle 34-38 load.

As a general try staying below 1.925V if you are on air. Sure, if you can bare a loss of cpu feed it HELL! hey - it's your money ;)

But your sig says diff...

Anyhow, I'm running at 1.675, and I've booted with 1.85 but I've never really stayed above 1.725v. I guess it's just a matter of personally preference. But if you're wondering about MAX voltage you can safely run, I guess that is determined by your chip.

Example: If your chip runs at 1.9v and it stays under 55*C full load and doesn't lock up on you while playing hours on end, then you're fine there. However, if you're running at that voltage and it ocassionally locks up or self-reboots or runs at a high temp, try staying under that voltage.

My 2500+ runs at 50c idle when the vcore is 1.85 or greater, so I like to keep it lower. I'm running 1.7v right now and it's at a very comfortable 40c idle, 47c load.

I think that if your temps are low enough at 1.85v, you should be comfortable at that. 1.9v if you need to, but that's above my comfort level.

It's really just up to you, though.
