Ram and maybe your VC, oh and hows your cooling?

Cheers,

Yes, list the video card. Maybe that's what you want to upgrade. You could use more storage and a burner.

1) Video Card----> $200 9800pro newegg
2)CD Burner ------> 50 bucks at newegg
3)Harddrive -------> 120gig is around 110 bucks at newegg(wd 8mb cache)
4)Mobile 2400+----> 80 bucks at newegg
5)Diffrent HSF/water/pelter/vapo cooling--->Price varies

I'd probably start by getting a video card... wait, how are you able to post without video? Are you psychic......wait don't answer, lemme get my tinfoil hat.

Actually if you are really good you could do it. I mean you would know approxamatly when you login, when the start menu appears. You could use keyboard shortcuts (CTRL-ESC), and you could do it.

I troubleshoot MS products on a cell phone, in the car. I have completely memorized the menu, and functions to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (outlook I am still not 100%).

I also can troubleshoot Windows 98, ME, 2000, and XP at 75% from memory. Don't even need to see it to work on it. It just takes memory work.

Cheers,

It is possible, but unlikely anyone could post this way.
You also would need feedback, just in case your finger accidentally hit the wrong button, ctrl-g instead of ctrl-f, for instance.

In your example, the person on the other end of the phone gives feedback to your commands. "Yeah the menu is up now." etc.

Oh, and for a suggestion on his upgrade. I say he switches to 4 blue LED's, everyone know's that blue is faster. :D

Ever run headless? ;)

Well not only mention the video card, but what about the application? I mean if your looking to speed up DB lookups a new video card isn't going to help.
