I've got this PCI vid card,
3 -1 1/4" square chips with 3DFX interactive stamped on it
24-smaller rectangular chips with 100mhz on it
1- 1"sq chip with Gendac on it
on the pcb "1998 STB SYSTEMS INC."
Any idea what type of card this is and if so where can I get drivers?
Thanks

I'm lame I admitt it:eek:
Don't know how to post pic:(
Think I can get it to run with winxp?

It definitely sounds like a 12MB STB Voodoo2. The 24 memory chips are a dead giveaway, as are the three 1 inch square chips you mention (V2's had 3). Another way to identifiy the card is if it has a floppy type connector coming off the side (SLI connector).

Argh I hate 3dfx. Their Voodoo 3 3000 had terrible drivers. I couldn't even play SIMS without having it pop back into windows.

Hey thanks all
yep I was wondering how my floppy was gonna play games, jeeze must be old school direct mem acces:eek:
So you think this is a voodoo 2?
Time to fiddle about:D
