What tools are nessecary for case modding

What tools would be needed to do some basic case mods. Like adding a window (akwardly shaped windows like a lightning bolt) , and painting something to look nice and shiny
 
Dremel, deburring tool, drill, not sure on the painting. I'm new to modding myself, I'm picking up tools left & right!
 
4.5" hole saw and a good 14v drill (or more) is my favorite. Blowholes are always a must for case modding.

Dremel of course, everyone will tell you that. Quick change cutoff wheels are my favorite accessory. The flex shaft always comes in hadny. Get a circular saw or jig saw for cutting bigger piece like lexan windows and such.

Oh and never start a case modding project without zip ties, double sided tape, and electrical tape. They can make wire management and light mounting a breeze.
 
honestly, the most important things you'll need are time and imagination. :D

...but a big wad of cash and some nice power tools come in handy too. =P
