What to pick?

So I recently found this great site and it so far I've only gotten great help. I hope it will keep on going!

I am currently building my own computer.. current stuff Ive bought are:
Fractal Design Define R4
i5 3570k
MSI Z77 MPOWER ATX
500GB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm SATA 6Gbit/s
Corsair 8GB (2x4096MB) CL9 1600Mhz VENGEANCE

As you can see I lack both a gpu and psu... I have a tight budget so I've been looking at the used market and I got two kinda decent deals.

Deal 1: XFX 7970 (About 7 months old) + 650w xfx core for 400 USD.
Deal 2: Sapphire 7950 (Brand new) + 1000w silent pro (1 month old) 400 USD

So here I am looking for advice on what 'deal' to pick from.. they are both the same price, however one deal gives me a good PSU and lesser GPU and the other is vice versa.

Help me oh hard forum!

Does that XFX still have the transferable warranty? If so, go for that. If no, don't bother with either deal. FYI, you do not need a 1000W PSU and you would be fine with a solid 650W PSU. However I do not recommend getting a GPU without a warranty.

I recommend you pick up a new GPU as you definitely want your own warranty. The power supply you can pick one up for cheap online. a good decent 750 watt will keep you chugging along perfectly.
