What to expect

Just figured I would get a general idea of what to expect before I get my hands dirty. I'm planning to do my own little "mini review" of some value RAM packed with overclocking goodiness :) The system that the OC'ing will be tested on is as follows:

DFI NF2 Infinity
AMD Athlon XP 2500+ Barton (non-mobile) w/ a Thermalright heatsink (forgot the model #) coupled with a 92mm Antec Fan
Samsung Spinpoint 120gb SATA HD
Antec Super Lanboy Case
Undecided on the PSU (will probably go with a Antec SmartPower or something along those lines)

I'm expecting some decent overclocks with that setup. I'm not for sure if there is any custom BIOS options out there for this board that adjust NB Vcore, etc. so if anyone knows please bring it to my attention.

As far as memory options, I will be testing the following:

Mushkin SP3200 2x512mb PC3200 DDR 400 @ 3-3-3-8 (model # 991093)
Crucial PC3200 2x512mb DDR400 @ 3-3-3-8 (model # CT6464Z40B)
Corsair Value Select 2x512mb PC3200 DDR400 @ 3-3-3-8 (model #VS512MB400C3)

All tests will be ran like anyother review (give or take a few benchmarks). I'll list each brand ranging from lowest attainable latencies, highest available FSB at lowest/highest latencies, etc. Everything will be accounted for to give a complete review.

I'm mostly doing this for my own learning experience but I figured why not share it? :) By the way, if anyone would love to add/remove any brands from the listing then go ahead. I'm mainly trying to find the best overclocking chips, be it TCCD, Micron and so on. If any of these manufacturers use the same chips then let me know and I'll swap them out. I may throw some TwinMOS sticks in there for the hell of it. Anyways, just let me know and if not just enjoy the reading!
