So I've decided to build my own computer, get all the pieces and install them. I turn on the switch and everything whirs up(didnt plug in my monitor yet becuase I was at my grandpa's! So I'm pretty satisfied with my work. I took it home and try to plug in my monitor but i realize theres not the right plug for it! Here's my motherboard. The connector on my mobo looks like this . And the end of what my monitor cable looks like this but it's male not female.
So I bought a few connectors to see if can get my monitor to hook up to it. Here's what I bought http://shop.store.yahoo.com/cablesonline/hdfemslimgen.html and http://www.cmicomputer.com/cgi-bin/...its_seen=&page=search.html&and=&affiliate_id=
These all fit so that they physically hook my monitor to my mother board but it doesnt work. So now what do I do to fix this?
Any help would be greatly apprieciated.
