My current gaming system is a little long in the tooth now:

E8400
Asus Rampage Formula
8GB DDR2
GTX280
PC Power & Cooling TurboCool 750w
BenQ G2400W (1920x1200)

When I saw the 30% coupon from Dell on the U3011 (30" @ 2560x1600), I couldn't pass up the deal. Now I'm torn between building a new system based on Sandy Bridge or waiting for Ivy Bridge. If I wait, I obviously need to make a few changes to my existing system to make life @ 2560x1600 bearable for a while. With that in mind, what would be the best video card for me to upgrade to that would be remotely adequate @ that resolution? And would I be CPU bound with the E8400? FWIW, I primarily play FPS, RTS and WoW. Thanks for the advice!
