after seeing hte gtx480 reviews, I am not that pleased with the cost/performance. However I wanted to get a 3d monitor and 3d vision kit.

Does that work on ati?

Yes, ati will support 3d vision if I remember correctly.

I think you'll still need a 120hz monitor or something.
