So I won an Atlas 15K II from ebay for a really good price. I already had a decent SCSI setup so the drive was all I needed. So now I am thinking I could sell it and get a Raptor X instead ( I should be able to make almost enough money to buy one), since the raptor is so much better for single user environments. My question is, realizing the atlas is at least a decent performer in top end performance, is it worth the hassle of selling it , shipping it, then acquiring a raptor etc.? Thanks!
 
If you've got the scsi setup already, I see no reason to sell it. You'd almost be taking a step backwards going to the raptor depending on the usage patterns of the system.
