I just recieved this case for free and I was wondering what to do with it

Suggestions Welcome

It even has wheels

put it a mean water cooling or cascade cooling system.
or just a bunch of drives
or give it to me, i'll give it a good home

I'd say your first step should be to cut it in half

i had one of those, my friend and i dropped a huge boulder on it off of my deck. it was about a 15ft drop, did it twice, man that thing was crushed.

Put a reptile tank in the top half above the PSU, you know, so you don't need to buy heat lamps.

it has alot of potential i just need some ideas, a design/plan and some motivation

id put a nice watercooling system in it and put a fishtank at the top above the psu. it would be kinda fun.

lol my brother had that case. The only thing that it had was Hella 5 1/4 drive bays. So we put six scsi sony 1x cdroms (and scsi card of course) in it and a abit be6 mobo which if I remember correctly could do 8 hard drives. The cpu was a 450 with 512 L2 cache which again made me think "server". Redhat ran well on it till we forgot the password, parted it, and sold it on ebay. We lazy. If you work in IT and your help says "sell it!" when you run into troubles its because THEY LAZY!

me and couple of friends are gona start working on it next weekend...Gona see if we can do anything to it :p

First, is that last pic a crotch shot? Ew.

Second - lots of fans, lots of CPU cores, and lots of GHz. Get two dual-core Opterons and see if you can get 10GHz in a single tower. (4x2.5?) I don't know how well the 940 Opterons or their motherboards overclock but it could well be possible.

this thing even has a flip down motherboard tray

I am deff starting working on this case

First the inside is gettibg painted Flat Black !

Stay Tuned for more :)

Perhaps if you don't use too many drives, you could cut holes for maybe 3-4 120mm intakes for front of the case. Then maybe 1 or 2 120mm blowholes on top. You could possibly modify the PSU mounting bracket, and remount the bracket a little higher, then chamber it off from the motherboard in a custom plexi enclosure (sorta like the Antec P180). You could also create a 120mm exhaust where the PSU would normally be and make another plexi glass chamber to exhaust the hot air rising from the CPU HSF. OR add some 120mm side intakes on the panels too with plexi glass enclosures to have some decent airflow flowing through your video cards.

I would like one of these cases, where can I buy one?
