What to do with an old AX7?

I recently ditched my old 1600+ system in favour of a new a64 rig. My new cpu has the stock a64 heatsnyc and is running at 52C on average at stock speeds, which I think might be a little warm for overclocking.

Is there any way I could mod my old AX7 from my old machine for use in my new a64 system or could I turn it into a sweet cooler for my Leadtek 6800GT that's set to arrive monday?

The AX-7 is probably a bit too heavy for a video card, and modding it for a new socket is probably more trouble than it's worth, considering its not going to improve your performance over a newer HSF setup.

its not too heavy for the videocard.
that would make for one sweet mod, just drill some holes in it and attach it or just thermal epoxy it to the core and shim.
but then again, the leadtek cooler might be better than that.
