That's roughly what I'm getting from tax refunds.
2 things hurt me this year.
1. the 1 paycheck I got from Warrensburg for $1000 did not have federal tax taken out on it. So, I had to pay about 15% on that.
2. I didn't reach the limit for deductions for my donation of my car to charity to apply. It seems that I simply didn't have enough debts on my shoulders to hit that mark. No mortgage. No student loans. Nothing. In my desire to pay everything off, I screwed this up. So, I basically gave it away for nothing. Needless to say, I'm going to laugh at all the charities that ask for my help from now on! (or until I reach that $800 blue book value I should have been able to get for it).
As it stands, I'm getting $45 back from Federal, and $32 from State.
My parents were able to put the car on their taxes, and get an additional 200 which they'll give me.
So, I have roughly 300 bucks to play with.
It's probably enough to make a car payment but, I'm already going to be paying it off in April from how things look so far.
It's not enough to pay bills, or pay for a month's rent.
So what suggestions do you have?
I don't have enough room in the fridge for all the Guinness it could buy (roughly 8 or 9 cases) .and I don't plan on drinking that much in 10 years' time, let alone before it reaches the point of bitter beer face.
And no, giving it to you isn't a viable option. Sorry.
