What to buy.

My motherboard decided to die on me, so I am going to send it in to Asus for a replacement. I was wondering what I should do after that though. I've been wanting a DFI Lanparty for a while now and this seems like the time. Should I use the replacement board and buy a new heatsink for my processor? Or should I sell the motherboard as soon as I get it and use the money I was going to use towards a heatsink to cover the price difference from the sold Asus board and a new DFI board?
