What Tau Sounds Like

only 10 instruments.. this guy's slacking ;)

What's sad is the Pi song has been taken down -- "copyright" issues as someone got their panties in a bunch over it. Sad really, Here's a little bit of info:

and

here is Eriksons "Pi Symphony" explained:

Holy shit I'm in disbelief that someone could try and pull a copyright issue on that. It's just unbelivably, disgustingly fucking dumb.

If beer wasn't invented, I'm not sure how I would make it. :p

Just google

"What Pi sounds like", theres two other youtube links at the top with it.

Or I can link it. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOQb_mtkEEE"]Here[/ame] ya go :p

Just listened to both of them, quite awesome. No lie, I dont know what Tau is, I came in here hoping someone else had asked, but alas, I must go look it up now :(

Correct me if I'm wrong...

Aren't there supposed to be 8 notes in a major scale... not 9?

He doesn't explain it well, but for a quick bit of dumbed-down theory, the 9th note is the same as the second note, it's just an octave up. So,

2 = 9
4 = 11
6 = 13

When you see something like Cadd9, it's C(1) E(3) G(5) D(9).

This is nice and well done. But what [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wS7CZIJVxFY"]Tool did[/ame] is way more cool imo (and better integrated into a full song as well).

If this guy keeps it up, he will stumble upon the secret to the Universe...
