Hi

I have just had my machine upgraded in work, mines was rushed through as I needed the extra power quickly. Here is the spec:

HP 8200
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30GHz
AMD Radeon HD 6350
16GB DDR3-SDRAM PC3-10700 (667MHz) - [DDR3-1333]

I have just read the specs that are proposed pending approval:

HP Z210 (KK765EA)
Intel® Xeon® E3-1225 Processor, x1 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 ECC Unbuffered RAM x2 Kingston 4 GB 1333MHz DDR3 RAM (KTH-PL313E/4G), NVIDIA Quadro 2000 1.0 GB Graphics Card (WS094ET)

Obviously mines has more RAM than the recommended machine, but was wondering more about the CPU and Graphics card

Your work machine has a slightly faster CPU (3.3GHz versus 3.1GHz in the same CPU generation) and twice as much RAM (16GB versus 8GB) but a slower GPU than the proposed work machine: That Radeon HD 6350 is the very bottom of the HD 6xxx-series line while the Quadro 2000 is a version of the GeForce GTS 450 with slightly lower clocks. In fact, I would dare say that the HD 6350, while an improvement over the i5-2500's integrated Intel HD Graphics 2000, is not fast enough to justify its street price (if it were sold as a retail product).
