Hey, I just started using my 42 inch plasma as an second display. My question comes in set up. Right now I have it set up with extended desktop but that's not really what I want. What id like to be able to do is have it so whenever i load a full screen game it will load up on the plasma instead of my LCD. Anyway I can do this?
 
You should be able to do this without additional software, though you may have to drag the start menu around every time you enable or disable the plasma.

You should just be able to set the plasma as primary in the standard Windows display settings. All games will go to the primary screen.

If you want the start menu, etc. on your LCD you'll need to drag it back over from the plasma. Windows will put it on the primary screen by default.

Laptops can get a bit more goofy. To get my external display set as primary on my laptop I have to set it for single external display then enable the built in screen as a second monitor. If I use the laptop buttons to set it to dual screens or just the laptop display I can't set the external screen as primary.
 
See some games I want to go to the plasma and others i want to stay on my LCD. Right now I just switch the default display before I start a a game and that's just a little clunky
 
Windows 7 has a nice Win+P shortcut that lets you set the primary to the secondary monitor and turn off the other screen. Alternatively you could switch the primary and then extend again if you need the LCD for something while gaming.

For XP/Vista users there's UltraMon which will do pretty much the same things but is even more versatile.

It's truly a shame that most games just don't understand the concept of multiple monitors. Even something as old as Max Payne 2 let you pick the monitor.
