Im goin to trade my e6850 for a q6600 and i already got a dual rad, but for xmas im adding another loop to my system for the 8800gts with a ek block? and the nb on my 680i that sounds like a jet. so would a single 120 do it for the 8800 and nb or no?
 
Nope. What I'd do, would be to put all the components in the same loop, and get another double radiator somewhere... That would be the most efficient way to handle the heat load IMO, and without the need for a second pump.

would my d-tek db-1 be able to handle that?
 
Wouldn't a MCW655 handle that? Sell your current pump and put that money towards the 655.

i think im goin to get the Laing D5 Vario/Swiftech MCP655 Inline 12V DC Pump
and the mcr-320 and then mount it on the top of my v1200. would that be able to handle the heat?
 
So you mean use the 320 for your whole loop? The quad, 8800gts and your chipset? Yes that would work, and that pump will do the job fine.

yeah. im also planning on the ek 8800gts block, is the nikal plated worth the extra money. and is the swiftech nb block good enough for the nb?
 
Personally I wouldn't get the nickel plated block. That's up to you, the standard copper block is fine if you ask me. That norhtbridge block would get the job done. You don't need much to cool it.

Like Arcy suggested earlier -- 2 2x120s in the same loop, rather than a single 3x120. Or even better, a 3x120 and the 2x120 you have now if you can fit it. 8800s drop a lot of heat, though the GTS less so than a GTX. Quads drop a lot too, and the 680i northbridge, while far less than those, is there too.
 
If i did the dual i could have the tripple on the top and the double on the bottom. is that to far apart?
