What should my rig get in 3dmark2001

Specs are as follows:

1.6 duron running at 2.26
EPoX 8K9A7I
2x 40gb WD HDDs in RAID0
GF FX5200 @ stock speeds for now.

My friend has a 2000+ which by all tests shows mine beats since it overclocked as high as it is and a radeon 9000np which mine is faster in all games yet his always scores higher then mine. mmine only hits about 5k :( what would you guess it SHOULD get and what my problem is here. my dual p3 600 with a gf4 mx440 gets 4.5k :(
 
my old system could pull an 8000 no problem, heres the specs...

Soyo 6ba+iv 440bx
Celeron 1300@1600
1gb of pc133
geforce fx 5600 ultra
40gb&60gb 7200rpm maxtor's.

that score seems about right. your cpu and video card are definetly holding you back.
 
my cpu, stock, is faster then yours, the only thing i can see is your video card. i still dont see why i can beat my friends computer :(
 
that fx5200 isnt much faster than your gfmx. the fx5600u was a little faster than a ti4600.

id say that your video card is your biggest bottleneck. like you said, your duron is faster stock than my celeron was overclocked, i upgraded from a quadro 2 pro ( ~ geforce 2 pro) to the fx5600u and i double my 3dmarks01 score. if you had a radeon 9800 or something in there i think you could easily hit above 10k. and also, that board probobly supports 4x agp, my old bx could only do 2x.
 
my board? 4x agp? hahahaha i made sure it was 8x, the board is about 6 months old. im going to put my friends 9000np in here and see what happens
