What should my benchmark score be?

I have a AthlonXP 2200+ OC'd @ 2.0GHZ
768MB DDR 2700
Powercolor 9800SE 128MB (Softmoded)
Asus A7V8X MOBO
WD 120GB 7200RPM Drive

I am testing in the following Benchmarks:

3DMARK01 SE
3DMARK03
PCMARK04

Check their online site for computers like yours and that will give you an idea. Keep in mind these benchies are total bullshit....so don't be alarmed if your higher or lower than the norm.

Well I benchmarked using 3dmark01SE and 3dmark03
I cant remember the 03 score ill post later

The O1 score was 10997
Is this anygood?

I heard it should be around 20000
Im running the omega drivers theese any good?

As I said before, use the ORB or their website to look up comparable systems and find out what they are scoring.

If i understand it correctly, 3D Mark is most greatly affected by video care core speed but in real life gameplay its the memory that affect performance most. I could be wrong but i believe thats how it is.

I just took my first plunge into video card overclocking so i'm having to learn along with everyone else lol.

Yeah don't get too paranoid if your scores are not exactly on par with the average. I just built the system below 2 months ago and ran the 3DMark01, 03 and Aquamark. My scores were way below norms. Turned out that I had V-Sync and 2xAA and 2xAF on. Now they bench around similar systems.

ok then ill try that out. I know i have no AA of but im not sure to cheak about the AF

10x7, and it'd be a stretch for you to hit 20k actually. You're probably wanting to hover around 14k unless you tweak.

11k wouldn't be too unusual for a non optimized system with those specs, either.

(note: this is with all startup programs running in the background, with aa/af set to auto, non o/ced etc)

For reference, my 3dMark01 was 15,900 the last time I ran it. My 3dmark03 was 5,900 I believe.

well im a bit of a tweeker, i am oc'ing and i strip down the background servises and startup tasks. There is not a traking cookie that i dont know about i keep my system really cleen.
I use Mcafee quickcleen, Adaware, Pccillin spyware dectetor, and watchdog now and again.

So these scores must be abnormal. I have no ram sinks and the video card is overclocked slightly. I have great case cooling as i have 2 tornado fans. and about 8 other case fans
