Ok, Im trying to avoid spending alot of money all at once, but heres my question.

I have a decent (a little dated) gaming rig (see sig) . It has not had an upgrade done to it in almost a year, and Im feeling the itch.

everything else in the system will stay the same (HD's, sound, PSU, and optical drives)

I was wondering what you guys thought would be a more worthy upgrade:
keeping my system and just getting a 6800GT?

or

Getting a 3200+ (64) and new MSI board, and 1 gig of pc 3200 ram (probably adding another gig down the road) and keeping the 9800 pro?

Since I'm not sure I could sell my 9800 pro (any one interested? 170? ) the price for either upgrade is only different by 100 bucks, but right now i can't afford both.

Or would you just reccomend waiting another couple of months and see if prices come down. I can play farcry at 1024x768 with 2xAA and 4AF so im not really dying here, but I don't see prices fluctuating a whole lot. Any thoughts?

IMHO, I would wait -- PCI-X, everything else is just coming out. . . so prices will either drop and you can get that system, or you can pay the same price for the new technology (same price that you would pay now for the older tech., for the newer tech later).
