What should I expect temperature wise?

I have my system up and running now and the temps seem high to me, what should I expect?

idle: 41c
loaded 57c

Ultra "Aluminus" full tower case
Antec TP2-550w power supply
P4 640 3.2Ghz Prescott CPU
Asus P5WD2 motherboard
Corsair XMS 2x1Gb PC2-5300 ram dual channel
ATI x1300Pro PCIE 256mb video

Your motherboard sensor might be off so don't go by that reading. Is your system running stable and as quite as expected? That is all that really matters.
 
Everything seems to be running smooth but I am not overclocking it yet. Is there a way to accurately check my temps?
 
The most likely cause of bad temperatures (if the motherboard isn't off that is) would be a poor mount of the block. You could try taking the block off and looking at the thermal paste, that will tell you if the mount was bad. Make sure to then clean off the processor and the block with some isopropyl alcohol before remounting. If the mount is fine the other thing I would check would be to make sure there are no kinks, and also make sure you have the inlet and outlet correct on the TDX, although mixing up the inlet and the outlet will only drop temps by a bit.

Those temps do seem high. Try MBM and Speedfan.

Where can I get those?

I will check the mounting, I used AS5 as per their instructions and I verified that the center port is the inlet. Also I could not find any kinks in the tubing, everthing is full flow.
 
Well I checked my system and noticed that I didn't have the TDX tightened down very far on its springs so I tightened them up and now I am at 45C loaded.
 
That sounds a lot better, because with water cooling, your load temps shouldn't be much higher than idling. Other ideas/issues you may have can be found here.

If you think your mobo's sensor isn't very accurate, you can try flashing the Bios, or just compare your current temperatures to those you on air.
