Okay here are my two options: Which offers better stability, performance, noise???
Option 1:
Aspire Qpack
ASUS A8N-VM Socket 939 NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
AMD 3800X2
EVGA 7800gt
1GIG Corsair Value (already have)
for $830 bucks

Option 2:
Shuttle SN25P
AMD 3800X2
EVGA 7800gt
1GIG Corsair Value (already have)
for $1057.8 dollars....

I really wouldn't like to spend more than a thousand....would the Xpack setup be okay? Or should I just go with the shuttle, is it that much better?

There seems to be a lot of problems with the SN25P.....what is the best Nforce mATX motherboard?
 
Are you overclocking? If so, go with the Biostar T-Force 6100 939. I have the Qpack with the Biostar and couldn't ask for better performance out of a SFF.
 
Well, I've had the Aspire X-QPACK (actually, two entirely different X-QPACK cases and 3 different mobos trying to find a combo I liked), a Shuttle SN25P, and Shuttle ST20G5.

Of those, I am *most* happy with the ST20G5...but, then, I like ATI's integrated graphics more than nVidia's. And it does make sense (regardless of what people say) to match the system mobo chipset with the video card chipset (IE., ATI to ATI, nVidia to nVidia). Both manufacturers employ performance tweaks in their drivers from time to time that makes games smoother or perform better on their own chipsets. Sometimes even obviously so, with a substantial difference in performance.

Next choice of mine would be the SN25P. Personal taste, but the X-QPACK is - really - just too large for most situations where you need "small" and thus need an SFF PC.
 
Yeah I personally would go for the Shuttle myself, simply because of it's looks and size.

The PSU in the Qpack isn't too good, so you'll have to buy one, most likely a Liberty.

Also, if you go with the Qpack, I would suggest getting another gig of ram, since your limit is 1k.
