I just installed my moms old HP deskjet 660c on her "new" machine (built all from old parts I have discarded) and the computer, each time I reboot it, say that its found the printer again and wants to install the driver all over again. The printer works perfectly, and the driver is already installed, and yet it still does this.

The printer was hooked to her old machine and was networked to this one, now its connected directly to this one. I deleted the old networked one that it saw, but the machine still wants to install the drivers each and every time I reboot.

I dont have my XP CD in the drive, but it doesnt ask for the CD when it installs...

Maybe I should try that. Any ideas?
