I just bought a LCD monitor but it only brings Analog cable but it supports DVI also
is there a noticiable difference between these two?

Should I just stick witn analog cable

I agree.
However, I have two 19" widescreens, one on DVI and the other on analog, and honestly, I can't tell the difference. Maybe I'm blind, or my displays suck, I don't know. But they look the same to me.

I'd still go with DVI if since you can.

Dvi is supposed to be better because the connection is digital and if you use analog youre converting from analog to digital. Sometimes you can't really see a difference but you should stick with dvi anyway.

DVI is the better hookup since it's digital.
VGA or DVI quality is dependent on the monitor, my LG LCD's look the same on DVI and VGA, nice and sharp, but the cheap Dell 17" LCD we have at the office looks much sharper with the DVI. Brought it home one day and tested it on my PC to see if I could work with an LCD for long periods since at work my eyes would hurt. turns out the VGA on the Dell isn't that good. we use the VGA at the office since the computer only has onboard video and no DVI.
