What’s Old Is New Again with Eyefinity

Decided to take advantage of the Steam sale and grab Deus Ex. I didn't expect it to work with Eyefinity, but to my surprise...

Awesome. I got the Eidos pack last year when it was on sale, I'm going to have to give that a shot.

Just a heads up, that same fix also appears to work on a lot of old Unreal Engine games like UT99, Deus Ex, Rune, etc.

Adds proper widescreen/eyefinity support, fixes the "weapons 3x too large" bug for eyfinity users, fixes the "flares 3x too large" bug for eyefinity users, adds better support for bump/parallax mapping and volumetric lighting.

I guess that means a lot of old games should work pretty well with Eyefinity now.

those games don't seem that old to me.

Does eyefinity work with Warcraft 3????? I tried google but WOW over powers any Warcraft 3 search.

http://www.widescreengamingforum.com has lists of games and how they behave along with known solutions. Warcraft 3 is a stretch game so it won't work well in Eyefinity.

Dude, next time go to monoprice. You could have had the cable shipped for like $8.

It was $12 shipping because it was Expedited so that I can hopefully get it by the weekend. I'm praying to god that I will. Otherwise I will have this extra monitor sitting here for 6 days. It's rough man.
