I am building a WaterKeg and I don't know what kind of Water Pump or CPU Water Block I should get. I have a Q6600 LGA775. I already have the radiator, and I'm using 1/2 fittings all the way around.

I was looking at getting the Swiftech MCP655-B for my pump. but I noticed that you can get AC powered pumps for less that pump more GPH, but how do they shut off when your PC shuts off if they're plugged in to the wall?

As for my CPU Water Block I have no idea what would be a good block. can you guys help a PC nerd out?

Also, can some one explain to me what is better, from the reservoir to the pump to the radiator to the water block back to the reservoir. Or from the reservoir to the pump to the water block to the radiator back to the reservoir? I've seen both but which route works best?

Looks like the one in the link uses the swiftech mcp655-B, which is what I use for a normal system, and it works great. I'd just go with that. AC ones normally you power off manually, some people just keep it running even when there computer is off. Doesn't really do any harm.

I use swiftech's apogee block for my CPU along with swiftech's MCW60 block for my GPU, both worth great and I would highly recommend putting your GPU on water. The other popular CPU block at the moment seams to be the d-tek fuzion.

Reservoir --> pump --> cpu block --> other water blocks (gpu, northbridge) --> radiator

Radiator dissipates the heat so you want it going from your blocks to it. The reservoir might dissipate a little heat but more than anything it'll keep the pump full of water (bad to run a pump dry), alot of people don't even use reservoirs. Becuase of it's main purpose though, the reservoir should always go into your pump. By the time the water gets to your pump it should be it's coolest, which is why it should go directly into your CPU water block.
 
Its a closed loop so order doesnt particularly matter, it will reach an equilibrium at some point with heat going in vs heat going out, the point in the loop that each occurs is a very minute detail.

Also, if you want what most would call the "best" block right now, that would be the Dtek Fuzion with the nozzle kit.
