i'm thinking resistance cuz it has co-op and online and they say it's great on the other hand i have motor storm which is great (demo ) and online but no off line multiplayer and there's folklore assassin creed and the darkness or def jam and nba (multi player is important cuz i'm having some guys over the next few days) so what do u think remember one game
 
i've got adsl 256k so i don't think it's going to run great spicialy when it's the usa version we have here
 
Ninja Gaiden Sigma - it's $40 at BB and there's a $10 off PS3 game coupon floating around. If you haven't played Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox the game is a MUST OWN [especially at $30]. Racthet and Clank also has my recommendation, but NGS can be had for half the price currently.

Other games to consider are Heavenly Sword and Uncharted, but I'd rent as their kinda short.
 
i like resistance but i would try to find it cheap used somewhere. its still 60 bucks new but still a great game
 
Resistance, but I'm not sure if it's worth $60 or not. I'll get it once it's $40. Same goes for Heavenly Sword. Try the demos.

Ratchet & Clank is ok, worth a rental, but it's aimed towards kiddies.

I just picked up Fight Night 3 for $30 and am having a blast. If you're even a little into boxing, you won't regret it. Oh and Uncharted is suppose to be good.
 
i have skate and sigam (i finnshed black on the xbox but sigma is still worth it )
i'm not in the us so games price's here r diffrent i got resistanc at 57 $ uncharted and assasin is at 80$ the old one's 60$ the new one's 80$ and above
 
resistance was 40 bux at best buy earlier today.. i still say uncharted though i rate it big time. assassins creed is good aswell but im about 2/3 of the way through it and bored to death of doing the same stuff.
 
ratchet is not aimed toward kiddies, its just not 3 shades of brown with a beef steak for a main character. its a very solid game and has really great graphics.

Uncharted is really fun and I highly recommend it. the PS3 version of UT3 is excellent.

The Darkness is really good and if you look around enough online, you should be able to pick it up for $20-25.

resistance is decent, but I wouldn't pay full price for it.
 
If you can find an Entertain-mart around, maybe even a hastings (anywhere but an EBgames/Gamestop/Gamecrazy type place) you can get Resistance for between 20-30 bucks used.
 
i'm a poor man from place called (not us soil ) and i live in third world country so plz stop talking about price's and give me the best game overall
 
The gundam game that was a launch title I herd it was excellent out sold almost every other game at launch in Japan.

best game overall for single player would be Uncharted or Ratchet and Clank.

best game for multiplayer would be UT3.

I also recommend Heavenly Sword and Uncharted. I'm interested in Rachet and Clank, but haven't picked it up yet.

The definition of good varies person-by-person, FFXI (not on the 40GB PS3) and Tekken 5: DR.

Other than that I can't think of any non-FPS multiplayer games for the Playstation...I'm sure there are probably a couple fighting games I'm missing though (that are available in the US).
