So you've run a dozen tests and you think your overclock is stable... and then you run another one and find that you have to downclock a MHz or two. Has this ever happened to you? If it has, what program revealed that little bit of instability?

doom3, i noticed artifacting with my radeon 9800pro @ xt speeds. not a big suprise because its a ddr2 card and the ram is tempermental when overclocked.

c&c generals zero hour gives me some wierd ass artifacting after 3 hours usage, but the ting is it does it at stock speeds too, and a couple dx9 effects artifact the screen also

The only game I've noticed any kind of artifacts was Shellshock Nam '67. I would see a few red lines here and there. .
Far Cry
Doom 3
SW: Battlefront
CoD
Full Spectrum Warrior
and a ton of other games have never gave me a problem.
When ATiTool tells me my core is stable at 430 and I have it set to 412 I shouldn't have any problems.
