What processor for Supermicro X9SRL-F?

Hi there, i'am looking into buying a new server and i've concluded that a supermicro X9SRL-F will be a perfect motherboard. But i'am kind of torn with the choice of CPU. I've been looking at the Xeon E5-1650 but i want some input from you guys, what cpu would you choose?
I will be running ESXI with a few linux/bsd/solaris and maybe a couple of windows vms
