What Paint Should I Use?

I am going to take the legs off of this computer desk I have and use cinder blocks to stand them on, as each piece of the desk needs to lean on the other for support, and this will simply not do.

I want to paint these blocks a nice melodic shade of red, I'm guessing I'll be able to find an aerosol that will do the trick, although i don't know what form would bond best with the cement.... Any ideas? Acrylic? Latex? helll, water color? I am clueless, thanks guys.
 
They sell paint specifically for concrete. It goes on real thick to get in the nooks and crannies.
 
its called an elastomeric coating...can pick it up at any local home depot/lowes or paint store...
