Hey I want to get a cheap but good gaming rig. I have a 8800gs and need a mobo that i dont need to flash. I want to get the e7200 but dont know which board. Also i'm trying to keep it cheap so just letting you know.

Thanks, vasha.

P.s. anyone ram suggestions besides some gskill? Same or lower price!

im currently using a GA-P35-DS3L, its a great board (#1 on newegg)

You can get it from newegg for about $100, but i got mine off of ebay for about $65 plus shipping.

If you need to overclock, you'll want to spend a bit more on an ethusiast board for the better PWM, NB cooling, etc. Otherwise at stock, there is little difference in speed - only features.

So if you don't want firewire, eSATA, a decent audio chip, etc. then any board will do. What I'm saying in a roundabout way is ... what else do you need it to do or have other than just "play games"?

I personally like the DFI Blood Iron. You can get one used for about $90.00 shipped, and it's a great overclocker.

would have to agree with wankerfx if ur on a budget. Id rather have an X38 chipset over the P35 for the PCIe 2.0 and 16x PCI express lanes...but on the cheap the bloodiron would be a great choice.

gotta make compromise somewhere though, if you want premium then u r gonna pay a bit more :(

If you want cheap then X38 is not for you, IP35-e and DS3L are good choices. You could spend a bit more and go with the MSI Neo2-FR, Asus P5K-e or DFI P35 DK.
