I think that is a good board if you plan on overclocking. I plan on ordering tomorrow as well and have narrowed it down to that board based on extensive reading and info available on this thread:

i also found somewhere online that lists the 6300 as being in stock as of last thursday, but I am fearful it may be out of stock by now lol. I really hope they are available this week as I am selling my mobo n cpu tomorrow and dont want to be without a pc for too long.

Do share. I've been checking religiously since the NDA ended and haven't found any in stock (other than the short-lived Newegg X6800s).

To the OP: I am going with an E6300 as well, and already have the GA-965P-DS3 and 2x1 GB of OCZ 5-5-5-12 DDR2-800 ready for it. DDR2-800 will be perfect for an overclock to 2.8 GHz (7x400) and should be fine past 3 GHz.
