What memory should i get?

I have an AMD 64 3400 (754) clawhammer and a new DFI 250GB MB. Video card is 6600 GT AGP. What is the best memeory for this system?

do you overclock? if you overclock get TwinmosSP, if not, if you have the money get balistic from cruical...........or maybe corsair xms stuff

i would second this.. maybe even if you don't overclock too, as it's cheap and you can't go wrong with it

that is good ram, its samsung TCCD chips which are good, speicaly if you want to overclock or get into that kinda thing.........

but if i were you for eye candy and cool effects, id get Crucial Balistic Tracers they have blue led "ground effects" and yellow/green/red activity lights.....which do diffrent patterens

there is no reason to get ram that costs more than $100 per gb, even if you're going for 2x1gb

yes, just because it costs more doesn't mean it is better or faster. If you aren't going to overclock, that memory will do jack shit over a less expensive one. Even if you are going to overclock, I'd take the twinmos over the TCCD, but that's my own personal preference not to drop tons of cash on stuff that doesn't change performance much.
