What Just Happened!?

Should try the card in another machine before RMA'n it. A bad power supply is another high culprit of these glitches.

The M4tR1X Has St0led youR M3GaHURTzeS!11111

you fired your card. BFG gives lifetime warranty because they just rule that much. So RMA it and learn from your mistakes :)

Or before you do that like another user suggested, it might be your psu. So put the card in a old machine and see if it works.

Good luck

Thanks for the further suggestions. Only problem is that I do not have another system, well besides the laptop I am on right now. It's really not a big deal though, I don't mind RMA'ing it. I only hope it doesn't take months on end :(

no it shouldnt take very long

Just got off the phone with BFG Tech Support. Let me just say that this was one of the best experiences I have had with any type of customer service or support in my life. Not only did the technician speak proper english, but he actually made jokes here and there to liven up the conversation. I was only asked three questions and was quickly prompted that I was approved for a RMA. I especially enjoyed the option of getting an advanced card without having to wait for my RMA to be completed.

Situation like this really makes me happy I went with BFG.

yep bfg is the shizznit...i just wish they were like asus and made both ati and nvidia cards

ya, bfg's tech support/warranty rock! They're only 100 miles or so from me, so i overnighted the card to them. 48 hours after they received, I had a new card in hand! Shipped it on tuesday and got it back friday. And only about three question were asked of me too.

You can't ask for much better service than that in the age where nobody wants to take care of their customers anymore.

They'll have you fixed up in no time. Also the guy I talked to said to return just the card because that's all they send to you is a bare card, no discs or accy's.

Oh thanks for the info, I was never told to return the accessories and discs.

Hopefully I get the new copper HSF and not the plastic one I currently have :)
