What is VIVO?

Hey guys i am getting this new graphic card and it says it come with VIVO,but i dunno what it does? so can you guys tell me what it does please?

VIVO is really cool. I had it on my Leadtek 5950 Ultra. What you can do is "Direct burn" video or live tv straight to a disk. You can also do alot more with it. Once I got my 6800 Ultra I saw no need for it anymore, especialy with a MSI TV Anywhere Master. Now I just record all of my show straight to my 300gig external drive, watch the show then delete it. What card do you have that supports VIVO?

my 6600gt has vivo, it is really nice being able to play xbox on my lcd, and i can also capture video from my video camera, tv or any other video source.

IIRC AIW = TV tuner, too.

AIW's allow you to stream CATV through your ATI card via the tv tuner on it, and yes it has VIVO from it too so you can hook up your console or TV/VCR/DVD player to it

My 6600GT turbo edition from gigabyte has VIVO.
