I'm somewhat of a noob here and I would like to solicit the opinion of the resident experts. I'm about to start building a new box based on the Asus P5AD2-E. I have locked in on all of the components of this system save the processor. Should I go for the 3.6 ghz 560j or the 3.8 570j or go with the 3.46 ghz ee edition? Money is not a factor but I do like the notion of value for the dollar. I am leaning toward a certain processor but would like to hear your opinion first. This box will be used for audio and video ripping/encoding some game playing and the usual websurfing ect.
Thanks for your time

3.8 570J

The 1066MHz FSB on the 3.46EE doesn't help that much. Plus, I've heard that all the L3 cache has very high latencies (read: slower). Definetely get the 570J. Then, in a year, get the new Dual-Core Presleys.

PS - Since you said money isn't an object, may I suggest the BFG 6800 Ultra for a video card (I'm assuming you are using PCI-Express graphics). Oh yeah, and get the Turbo-Cool 510 from PC Power and Cooling (best PSU on the market).
