I did not adjust any voltage by the way. Could it be be because of that?
According to my core temp, the max temperature overnight was 71 C

When you're overclocking, you're supposed to expect to increase voltages when it's unstable... or back off your overclock.
 
Yeah, kind of what previous poster said. It sounds like you dont know what youre doing.

Anyways, if it crashed, that means its not stable. IE, back the overclock down a tad or raise voltage. Rinse and repeat as necessary. Overclocking is usually done in a few steps to ensure stability. You dont click 1 button then hope it all works out.

With all that said, I am assuming the system is 100% stable non-overclocked to rule out other issues.
 
Okay. I'm trying to learn. Thanks for your input. I didn't raise the voltage because it was stable (booted up).

Now that I see the computer restarting after prime95 I am asking if increasing the voltage is the most likely .
 
Look up one of the guides on how to overclock a i7 750. It's one step lower than your 760, but still applies. There's more to it than just raising BCLK and vcore.

try running a intel burn test and see if it crashes faster then the prime95... if it does i would suspect low voltage. Just be sure to watch ur temps while you do it.
