Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
BFG is good because it has an aftermarket cooler on it, as well as a lifetime warranty and a pre-overclocked VPU core to I think 370mhz from the original 350mhz on a GT for example.
eVGA is good because it is usually cheaper than the BFG (on the Canadian sites I shop at anyways), and eVGA is about as close as you can get to "built by Nvidia". The eVGA is a good quality card. It only ships with the regular cooler, but people have got good OC's off that anyways.
Leadtek is good because it has an aftermarket cooler on it. Which is supposedly a bit better than the stock cooler.
All three are good, brands to stay away from:
MSI- I don't have a good feeling about MSI products in general mainly because my friend who works in a computer store tells me horror stories about the poor quality parts MSI uses (ie: capacitors, resistors, transistors, etc etc).
Asus is weird. They switched things around. Like they have a GT core and memory on a board that only has 128mb of ram or something, and then they have another card with 256mb ram but it's onyl a 6800nu core on it or something. Weird specs for these cards, and they're more expensive from what I've seen. I've also heard of driver issues due to this fact of rearranged specs. I'd stay away from them.
Overall: Best brand IMO, eVGA. Cheaper than BFG, and if you want to overclock just buy a NV Silencer (aftermarket video card cooler).
