Ok, so i have this question. My dads girlfriend wants to be able to talk on the phone to her daughter and son, she lives in Michigan, she lives in California, and hte son lives in Japan. I run WinXP Pro, her daughter runs Mac OSX, and i have no idea what the son has.
I originally told them just download Yahoo Messenger and use the built in webcam thingy, but her daughter interpretee that as "oh lets get Mac iSight that only works wiht AIM." I have an old shitty IBM webcam, good for what i use it for (i have used it maybe twice in the last 3 years). Her daughter went out and got the iSight cam, for her MAC, the son is waiting to see what htey do, and just follow suit.
I really dont liek to download the read AIM client because of all the bloatware that comes from AOL, i would much rather use Yahoo, but what do you guys thing? iSight says it only works with AIM and iSight...?
