Asus lappy. Don't know the model off hand, however it was purchased from Best Buy.

Specs: T6400, 4 gigs, 9300M GS, 250 HDD, 14.1 screen at 1280x900 (At least from what I remember)

When playing movies full screen from Hulu, and even Youtube, there is significant stutter. Even on Standard Def. I've updated the drivers for the 9300M, and am using FireFox 3.6. I have yet to try this on IE8 or Opera 10.x.

Any ideas?

Try updating Flash.

If that doesn't work Firefox has a known issue with flash and session restore (at least in 3.5, not sure about 3.6). Go to about:config, change the browser.sessionstore.interval from 10000 to 120000. This will increase the number of time between session restore snapshots to 2 minutes. Or you could just disable session restore altogether.

If those don't work, switch to Chrome. :D

Do a search for flash 10.1 beta and install that it has hardware acceleration. The older versions don't.
