Is Intel putting anything out to compete with Amd's Ryzen 3?

I have an X370 chipset board (which I don't care for, microdensitometer seems imminent and only running 2900mhz with ddr 3200 ram).

Last setup I came from was a very nice I5 that I had for years, so I'm tempted to go back to Intel.

If there's something halfway decent around June/July for release, I'd be very ready to make the jump over.

    Anything ticking?

You could go with a current 9XXX series, but make sure it is stepping 13 r0 so it has hardware mitigations for MDS and S&M. I doubt Intel will release anything until atleast late Q4'19 or Q1'20 and it will probably be more 14nm++++++.
Though I do think it is a mistake to not wait to see what Zen 2 offers. I will be building a new system soon but am waiting for Zen 2 to make my decision.

One rumor has the new Intel 10core cpu coming out Q4 2019 and another rumor sayin Q1 or Q2 2020. I don't think they have anything planned for the Summer but you never know. Intel is still having chip yield problems on their 10n cpus supposedly.
