Ive never had this problem before. When i plug my ipod into the computer it becomes unresponsive. this is frustrating me because i cant put music on my ipod!!! it will let me have the usb cord plugged in but once i connect the ipod to it its unresponsive. also if i have it plugged in it wont turn on? wtf? please help

try a few things. first, if you have a program that auto-identifies your ipod (say, itunes) try upgrading that before re-connecting your ipod. next, try updating your USB drivers, updating windows and then restarting.
