Hi all. I work for my local school.... and we found a old box. I guess it used to be our web server, DHTP server, plus a few other things.

The thing is running some version of linux... and when it posts it says Pentium-S @ 133mhz.

I would assume that it would mean slot... but its not a slot... just a normal chipset by the looks of it.

Did intel ever produce a Pentium chip specifically designed for servers? i did a quick search on intel.com and found nothing.

~Thanks

ah, so its just another name for a regular pentium...

Hm, if that's the case i feel rather foolish.

Actually it refers to only select Pentiums with a SINGLE VOLTAGE in the core. The Pentium MMX (P55) generation had two internal voltages in the core.
